IAG Cargo Expands Global Network with New Routes and Increased Capacity

Summer 2026 schedule boosts transatlantic connectivity and strengthens global air freight operations

London, 1 April 2026 – IAG Cargo has announced its Summer 2026 schedule, introducing new routes and increasing flight frequencies to improve global connectivity for cargo movement. The updated plan focuses on meeting growing demand across major trade routes while offering more flexible and reliable options for freight partners.

One of the key highlights is the launch of a new direct service between London Heathrow and St Louis, starting April 19, 2026. This route will operate four times a week and is expected to improve access to important manufacturing and aerospace hubs in the U.S. Midwest, while also reducing transit times for time-sensitive shipments.

The company is also increasing flight frequencies on several major North American routes. Services between London Heathrow and cities such as Chicago and Washington Dulles will see a significant rise, while routes to San Diego and Austin will double in frequency. These changes aim to strengthen capacity on high-demand routes and support smoother cargo movement.

In Europe, additional widebody capacity between London and Madrid will improve connectivity across the region. This will also make it easier to move goods between North America and Latin America through more efficient routing options.

Further enhancements include the return of Madrid to San Francisco services and increased flights between London and Tokyo, which will now operate twice daily. In Canada, additional flights between London and Vancouver, along with seasonal services from London Gatwick, will support increased demand during peak months.

With a strong presence across key global hubs, IAG Cargo continues to expand its reach and improve service offerings. The company is also focusing on specialized logistics solutions, including services for time-critical shipments such as aircraft components.

These updates reflect a broader effort to support global trade by providing faster, more efficient, and flexible air freight solutions. As supply chains continue to evolve, improved connectivity and capacity will play a key role in meeting the needs of businesses worldwide.
